[The following is a transcript of a recorded phone message put out by a group in Chicago called "Citizens' Committee to Clean Up the Courts [CCCC]." (312) 731-1100 and (312) 731-1505.]
Hi! Sherman Skolnick, Citizens' Committee to Clean Up the Courts, 9800 South Oglesby.
Some very clever folks put together some super-duper computer software. The company was called INSLAW, and their software, called PROMIS, was designed, originally, to track the caseload of federal prosecutors.
The Justice Department was one of their most important customers. At the time, the head of the Justice Department was Edwin Meese. And, he had a better idea. Feeling "above the law", he and his cronies stole the software and used it without paying! So it ended up, for example, running the FBI office in Chicago.
Meese and Reagan needed to reward some folks who helped torpedo Jimmy Carter's Presidential re-election bid in 1980. To make Carter seem like a wimp, they arranged to delay the release of the American hostages in Iran. The whole dirty, treasonous mess is called, "The October Surprise".
The PROMIS software was also ideal to track people, worldwide, by satellite. So, the October Surprise conspirators sold, or gave it, to intelligence agencies: Sweden, Iraq, Israel, France, and others.
Deprived of their product, and their income, the INSLAW company went into bankruptcy. The bankruptcy court judge, after extensive hearings, ruled the Justice Department big-shots had used fraud and deceit to steal the software. A district court judge upheld the verdict. A federal appeals panel, however, made a highly corrupt ruling that the bankruptcy judge lacked jurisdiction! Oh, yeah!? As a result, the Justice Department arranged to have the bankruptcy judge removed from the bench!
Along the way, INSLAW's attorneys put into official record that they had uncovered data -- now get this -- showing the Justice Department had a secret unit that committed domestic and foreign political murders.
While a Chicago special federal grand jury was also investigating the INSLAW affair, 41 grand jury witnesses were murdered! Some of our group [CCCC] were also set to be witnesses, and we complained about all this in a federal court civil suit, to no avail. The trail is long, and highly complicated. Our [CCCC] chairman interviewed a key official here of the IRS who admitted there was high-level corruption in related matters in the IRS and the Justice Department. That interview became part of pending federal litigation.
So what happened? Well, from Washington the Justice Department flew in one of their honchos to repeatedly threaten us in the hallway, outside a federal courtroom. The details are now a matter of court record [CN -- e.g., see CN4-11 and ongoing]. And the meaning of it all is, we are threatened by the corrupt Justice Department with jail for contempt, and bodily harm! All for telling the truth here and on our popular Monday evening weekly cable TV show.
No, there is no one in authority to complain to. It's a totally corrupt situation. Our court of last resort is the public. Ordinarily, we "play down" situations that put us in personal jeopardy. But this is an emergency, created by the Justice Department and their corruption.
The threats against us were outside the courtroom of U.S. Magistrate Joan Lefkow, [who is] considering our case accusing top officials of corruption. She's being blackmailed by the Justice Department and the IRS to torpedo our case. Why? Because she has recently been appointed to a lifetime position as federal district judge, and the crooked IRS and the Justice Department have the power and the clout to wreck her appointment before she is confirmed.
