[The following is a transcript of a recorded phone message put out by a group in Chicago called "Citizens' Committee to Clean Up the Courts [CCCC]." (312) 731-1100 and (312) 731-1505.]
Hi! Sherman Skolnick, Citizens' Committee to Clean Up the Courts, 9800 Oglesby.
A major transit point for narcotics has been Arkansas. The banks there have been awash with cash! The proceeds from the cocaine being brought in by plane to the airport at Mena. Details are in the book Compromised by CIA pilot Terry Reed.
Over a period of years, the dope center has been moved to Joliet, just south of Chicago! Brought in here, in great quantities, is a superior narcotic known as "China white". It comes in by barges up the waterway from New Orleans, up the Des Plaines river, past Moose Island. And, also into the airports in Joliet, and the Chicago suburbs of Lansing and Prospect Heights.
On Moose Island lived Robert Teczak(sp?), a pal of dope and espionage kingpin George Herbert Walker Bush. Teczak has also been a crony of other high-level state and federal officials -- such as Jim Thompson.
"Big Jim", in the 1980s (when he was Illinois Governor), made the secret arrangements for "China white" in trips to mainland China. Thompson's gang includes Dan K. Webb {1} and Anton R. Valukis, each, in turn, chief federal prosecutors in Chicago.
Teczak and his business partner, auto dealer John Bayes(sp?), had as their attorney Dan K. Webb, who apparently illegally funded for them even while Webb was U.S. attorney!
There seems to be quite a similarity between the Mena operation and the one in Joliet. Both were under the authority of CIA. {2}. Both used local "development authorities" to disguise the money. Dope funds in both places were used to finance businesses. In Arkansas, the illicit funds reportedly financed Wal-Mart's expansion nationwide. Here [Chicagoland], "China white" dope money reportedly finances Household International and their units, called Household Bank. Why just in the Chicago suburbs alone, there are upwards of 60 of their bank units (actually, technically, savings and loans).
Household International is the successor to the CIA-linked Nugan- Hand Bank of Australia. Household headquarters are [unclear] in Prospect Heights [,Illinois] where John Bayes' wife runs a motel.
The arrangements for "China white" distribution through Joliet were aided by Teczak, who owned a massive card game company called "International Games, Incorporated", headquartered in Joliet and the Cayman Islands. Teczak assisted the Thompson gang, with Teczak's airplane making trips to Hong Kong and other Pacific Basin locations.
For years, a secret U.S. Treasury unit has been investigating the dope, money laundering affairs in Joliet. CIA tried to shut down the investigation by invoking "national security"! Supposedly, CIA wanted to continue to keep track of high-level members of the Chinese secret police operating in the United States as scientists and technicians. Actually, CIA wanted to protect big- time criminals like Thompson, who became a director of the Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board that supervises CIA.
Disgruntled at the CIA's interference, the Treasury unit turned over thousands of revealing documents to an independent investigation group.
