Conspiracy Nation -- Vol. 4 Num. 44

("Quid coniuratio est?")

My thanks to a CN reader for sending me the following. (Note that I neither necessarily agree nor disagree with either all or portions of the following.)

Hi Brian,

I talked with Sherman on Friday(3/24). He is just a wealth of information! I sure wish he would write a book. But he needs to upgrade to today's technology in a bad way! I've included the conversation with him in this note to you.

------------------------ post begins here ---------------------------

The following is a summary of a conversation with Sherman Skolnick on March 24, 1995. I do not necessarily agree nor disagree with the following statements. I didn't have him on the recorder so I just made notes on a piece of paper and tried to keep up with him.

Here's most of what he said in summary form:

Note: According to Mr. Skolnick, if Ross Perot were to draw too much of the popular vote, he would have been done away with. They will not let that happen because then it gets down to a vote in Congress and there would be a political free for all. Sherman contends that George Wallace was shot for that very reason and because he thought that the Rockefeller Foundation should not be allowed to continue as a tax-exempt organization.

In other words, the Perot connection to Bush is one via the intelligence community. What a shock! (tongue firmly planted in cheek)

According to a copy of an FBI document Sherman has supplied to me, George Bush was involved with the CIA, at least, as early on as, the Kennedy assassination.

I have included a transciption of this document, for your reading pleasure, below:

Subject:ASSASSINATION OF PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY

NOVEMBER 22, 1963

Our Miami, Florida, Office on November 23, 1963, advised that the Office of Coordinator of Cuban Affairs in Miami advised that the Department of State feels some misguided anti-Castro group might capitalize on the present situation and undertake an unauthorized raid against Cuba, believing that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy might herald a change in U.S. policy, which is not true.

Our sources and informants familiar with Cuban matters in the Miami area advise that the general feeling in the anti-Castro Cuban community is one of stunned disbelief and, even among those who did not entirely agree with the President's policy concerning Cuba, the feeling is that the President's death represents a great loss not only to the U.S. but to all of Latin America. These sources knew of no plans for unauthorized action against Cuba.

An informant who has furnished reliable information in the past and who is close to a small pro-Castro group in Miami has advised that these individuals are afraid that the assassination of the President may result in strong repressive measures being taken against them and, although pro-Castro in their feelings, regret the assassination.

The substance of the forgoing information was orally furnished to us by, George Bush of the Central Intelligence Agency and Captain William Edwards of the Defense Intelligence Agency on November 23, 1963, by Mr. W.T. Forsyth of this Bureau.

Of course, the "Bureau" denies that this is the same George Bush as the one we all know as the former President of the U.S. You be the judge.

Two of the ships sitting in the waters off Cuba during either the Cuban Missle Crisis or Bay of Pigs (I don't recall which one) were named, "Zapata" (Bush's oil company) and "Houston", the residence of Bush at that time. Coincidence? I think not.

That's all for now. More to come at a later date.
